Our Vision

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established and growing law firm. The firm has a strong, loyal client base and a team of specialist fee earners acting for a wide range of private and commercial clients.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload and work closely with colleagues across the firm. You will be trusted to handle matters autonomously while maintaining a high standard of client care.

Key Responsibilities

Managing residential conveyancing transactions including:

  • Sales and purchases
  • New build transactions
  • Remortgages
  • Registered and unregistered properties
  • Help to Buy and Shared Ownership matters
  • Leasehold transactions and lease extensions
  • Transfers of equity
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
  • Working collaboratively with the Private Client department
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant case files
  • Ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met

The Candidate

  • 1–3+ years’ PQE in Residential Conveyancing
  • Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property law
  • Experience acting for individual clients on a broad range of matters
  • Able to work independently on complex legal cases
  • Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
  • Ambitious with a desire to progress within the firm
  • Enthusiastic about networking and business development
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships

Key Skills & Experience

  • Conveyancing Law Expertise – In-depth knowledge of residential property transactions
  • Case Management – Ability to manage a full caseload independently
  • Communication Skills – Clear and effective communication with clients and third parties
  • Attention to Detail – High level of accuracy in legal documentation
  • Client-Focused Approach – Delivering excellent service and managing expectations
  • Problem-Solving Skills – Resolving title issues, delays, and complex matters
  • Organisational Skills – Strong time management and prioritisation
  • IT Proficiency – Experience using LEAP and other legal case management systems
