Electrician

Job Overview  We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with both power and hand tools. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs as necessary
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment 

Skills:

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues effectively
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the electrical field
• Experience in renewables would be a huge benefit!
