Location: Leeds (LS10)

Salary: £33,000 – £40,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts between 6am and 6pm (occasional weekend overtime available)

What you’ll be doing as a Transport Planner

• Planning and coordinating container movements to keep operations efficient and compliant.
• Working closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and prompt delivery.
• Using systems like TOPPS and various VBS platforms to manage transport schedules and tasks.
• Handling bookings, route plans, and paperwork with an eagle eye for accuracy.
• Helping improve processes and contributing to the ongoing success of the operation.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience in container transport planning (Would be great)
• Great communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Confident using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of TOPPS and Port/Rail Terminal VBS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and great organisational abilities.
• A team player who can stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to new systems and tech.
